Our Story

Over 50 Years of Family Craftsmanship

Botica Timber Services Ltd has been a cornerstone of the New Zealand timber industry for over half a century. Founded by Ivan Botica (1946–2011), the company began as a small family operation in Henderson, West Auckland, built on a simple philosophy of quality workmanship and honest service.

Today, under the direction of Matthew Botica, the company continues to uphold Ivan's legacy. What started as a modest workshop has grown into one of Auckland's most respected timber processing facilities, trusted by builders, architects, joiners and homeowners throughout the region.

Our Facility

Our Henderson workshop is equipped with industry-leading machinery, including:

• Two 7-head moulders and one 6-head moulder
• Two 50m³ dehumidification kilns
• 42-inch band re-saw
• 300mm belt sander
• End matching equipment
• Blade grinding and sharpening facilities
