Proper kiln drying is essential for stable, workable timber. Our dehumidification kilns carefully reduce moisture content to the required level, preventing warping, splitting and shrinkage in finished timber products.

We operate two 50m³ dehumidification kilns capable of drying timber from 25mm to 50mm thick. Our controlled drying process ensures consistent results across the entire stack.

Our Process

Our dehumidification kilns use a gentle, controlled process that removes moisture evenly throughout the timber stack. This method is energy-efficient and produces excellent results with minimal degrade compared to conventional high-temperature kilns.

We can dry timber to your specified moisture content, typically 10-14% for interior use or 16-18% for exterior applications. Turnaround times depend on species, thickness and initial moisture levels.
